Dad couldn't wait to eat his cake, so we cut it at midnight. It was Black Forest again which doesn't impress me much. Then tonight we (as in with my cousins etc) went to Garden Buffet, and I'm swearing off buffets for the rest of my life now. Though that first moment feels pretty great, when you first step in and see all the food sitting there waiting for you after starving all day for it lol. Grabbing a big plate of shrimp is so cliched now but you can't resist that it is sooooooo deliciously economical.
Today Thao, Kit and I went to Paddington Markets. I bought a present, and a kick ass ring for only five dollars, because the guy at The Family Jewels gave us a bargain.
He also said to Thao and me, "Are you partners?" to which Thao pointed to Kit and responded, "That's my boyfriend," but the man, still addressing us, asks genuinely "But what about you two, are you partners?" For the official record, no we are not. And I'd like to know what kind of circles that guy must swing in, to be able to presume something like that so casually haha! (a three-way arrangement.) Oh, that silly quirky american indian guy!

Tonight we went to see Casino Royale. What a stupid movie.
So today we went to the Sydney Observatory. Why? Because we are awesome. Awesome at LEARNING about the solar system.
As per Jenfa's requests I have brought my vox to life! Hopefully, I'll be writing in this next year so you guys can see what I'm getting up to. With any luck, it will be the most exciting fricking blog in the whole world hahahahhaa. I'll probably abandon my flickr and just upload photos here now.
So yesterday started out as one of the most terrible days ever, but ended up being one of the best. I think I'm pretty much out of my previous slump now. To yesterday's companions- I am so grateful.
